Doctrine and Daggers is a music and writing project built on a simple conviction: what God has revealed in Scripture is not vague, and it is not ours to soften.

While there is no shortage of “Christian music,” much of it avoids clarity. It speaks broadly, but rarely speaks precisely. This project exists to do the opposite—music and writing that engage directly with the text, defined by doctrine, and anchored in the Word.

The focus is not on emotion alone, but on truth. Sin is not treated as surface behavior, but as nature. Grace is not presented as assistance, but as initiation. Salvation is not framed as possibility, but as something accomplished by Christ and applied by God.

Rooted in the Reformed tradition and shaped by the doctrines of grace, Doctrine and Daggers aims to present what Scripture teaches with clarity, weight, and consistency—through music, exposition, and written work.

This is not built for broad appeal. It is built to be understood, examined, and used.
